Happy Beats Academy is led by Gianina Vergara, a dedicated music educator with a strong background in piano, teaching and child development.
Gianina has been teaching piano since 2009 and has experience working with children, teenagers and adults. Her teaching combines musical discipline with warmth, encouragement and a deep understanding of how students learn.
Her background includes advanced piano studies, a degree in Primary Education, a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and experience preparing students for AMEB exams.
Our teaching team brings together experience, musicianship and a genuine commitment to helping every student learn with confidence, creativity and enjoyment.
Founder / Piano Teacher
Gianina discovered her love for piano at the age of four in southern Chile and has more than 20 years of piano and music experience. Her training includes studies at the Conservatory of Music in Osorno and masterclasses in Chile, Germany and Hungary. As a qualified primary school teacher, she combines musical expertise with thoughtful teaching strategies tailored to each student.
Piano & Guitar Teacher
David is a Colombian pianist and music educator with a university degree in musical arts with an emphasis on piano from Universidad Distrital de Bogotá, as well as a master’s degree in Colombian music. With more than 14 years of piano teaching experience and 10 years as a ballet accompanist, he brings patience, kindness and extensive musical knowledge to every lesson.
Singing Teacher
Sofía Neira is a Colombian singer and musician who studied contemporary music at the Faculty of Arts ASAB. Her experience spans Latin, pop, classical and jazz, giving her a versatile and expressive approach to music. As a teacher, she helps students develop vocal technique, confidence and personal expression in a supportive environment where they can grow at their own pace.
